Hearts can heal and soul can mend

When someone's words penetrated our minds and the knowledge settled in our hearts like a lead weight, I now believe that hearts can heal and soul can mend.
Even if we saw it in our own eyes and all we could do is stand back, gulp our drinks and stop grinning. When our train of thoughts are clouded with questions that careered through our minds and there's outpouring of sentiments and support and everyone has their own doubts and the ties are almost broken, there is a ray of sunshine left.
Now there's a sudden relief when we least expected it. That's because of something that's so unselfish and boundless, there's forgiveness. After a sharp intake of breath, there's a settled peace of mind that we will all remain as before.
