Friends again

It's not just the Christmas feeling when you feel like starting over again. It's just that in a friendship, there's always room for forgiveness. And in our case, our friendhip remained no matter what.
It's been 2 yrs of 'cold war' with Warrior Princess E. I thought we have reached "The End" of our friendship. But looking back now, all pain and hurt forgotten, maybe it's just the end of our bad attitudes in friendship. Add to that, we can't just throw away more than 11 years of friendship.
Hello to our fresh, new friendship. It's was a happy X-mas meeting with old friends like Vie and Em. She's no longer a warrior princess. I guess she really has mellowed out and just looking at her, I realized hey,I did miss this girl for 2 years.
This Christmas, there were lots of friends who did not forget, but there were a few who really forgot. But that's friendship, it has its moments. I'm just happy to welcome back em in my life. We are now starting again as new (but old) friends. I guess all's well that ends well. haha.:)

Locked up in Lireo

In my many years of working with starkids, I've never been locked up in a room before. This is the first time I have been accidentally locked in a room with the Hathoria kids.
Tell you what, it is a bit claustrophobic. We had to open up the adjacent Safiro room. Quite a small space to squeeze yourself out.
Of course, I had to let all the kids out first. (Blame it on the defective doorknobs of Tom Cruise, hmmpph) Queenie and I were the last ones to get out. Queenie is like, the fattest star kid. I can tell she's a bit anxious like me. I joked that we might not be able to get out and we will be televised on TV-so dyahe! hehehe. Queenie says she doesn't want to loose her big belly. I tell her, "Queenie, you and I have to diet na." For the record, she is way fatter than me. hehehe.
whew! We were able to get out! Cute people finish last. hehehe. :)

My Ocean Adventure

For my star kids' field trip, we all went to Ocean Adventure in Subic. We saw Simba, the smart sea lion. Despite what the animal rights activists would say, I think the animals here are well-taken cared of and they seem happy to do the tricks/ show. We also enjoyed the dolphins and whale show, plus the great ocean view. I love the sea.
I took care of my star kid Ef (whose mom is not around). I try not to think about it but at the end of the day, it's really hard to take care of someone else's kid.
Anyway, we enjoyed swimming at the Miracle beach. Reminds me of The Calling's line "..sand and stone. Could you make it on your own?" I swam a bit and gathered a few shells and stones. I love the beach. Tom Cruise's running joke is you'll say 'It's a miracle" after swimming coz you got out alive when sharks are nearby. (10 ft) hehehe.
Then, we went to Science and Tech, were we enjoyed the whispering dishes, Mr. Kelly on a bike, The Shadow effect, etc.
Finally, we went to Duty free Subic. We passed by the archery field where SEAG is being held. I like Archery. My bro and I used to have bows and arrows when we were kids. haha.
In DPS, I bought sandals and choc. Then we travelled back home and got home a bit late. What a tiring day. :)

Nina at Trinitas

I went to see Jay_R first with Mommy Linda. Wala lang, I just wanna see his dance moves. He's got a new album, but I think Gameface is livelier and more people anticipated it.
I also don't like his new version of "Just the way you are." I mean, a Billy Joel classic is not meant to be re-arranged like that, even if you are the Prince of RNB. But I like his bling, a silver mic, probably courtesy of what else, Unisilver.
After hearing his new songs, I takeout a bit of food and I went to see Nina at Trinitas.
Gosh, the show was delayed for more than 3 hrs! We were all bored to death with the opening acts, but when Nina came, it was a great show. She sang all her songs. I was in the front row of course.
I love her purple butterfly top, reminds me of the pink butterfly top I designed on the portrait I gave her. :)
Poor Nina, she is perspiring in the show. It was a bit hot in the gym full of people. But on my side, it was ventilated. Nina just smiled and went on with the show. Lucky Paolo, the alumni guy who organized the show. It was his b-day with catering. He gave Nina a bouquet of roses and got a kiss. But people are still looking for Kuya Nyoy! Nina pointed to her heart- ah, that's where Kuya Nyoy is--hahaha! ' So happy about it. clap! clap!
I got good shots and I went home in the AM. Anyways, the place is just near my crib. I really love the songs of the Soul siren. :)
