UN Day ' 06

It's another UN day. Once more I find myself as an emcee, but with a co-emcee Cor. T. Pres is sick with cough and T. Joy is busy maintaining order. I'm glad there are now 3 judges (2 nurses Arnel and Ivy and a lady dentist- Dra. Pineda) to resolve my problem. Come to think of it, as T. Joy was fixing the bouquet for the next Mr and Ms. GSM, I remember a friend. Masakit pala, akala ko hindi. But it's ok, that's life.
We had a nice UN day. We finished quite early. Starkids 1 and 2 did the hip-hop version of "Where is the Love" (Indeed, where is?)Starkids pre-elem danced to "Bawat bata." Julie chunyang sang a nina song. My starkids 4 danced to "Sikat ang Pinoy" (my fave)and I was dancing too, in the background. :) One of the judges sang (Ivy) "Tell me where it hurts" (oh, deep, deep down inside)Then my starkids 4 boys sang "Bitiw"with Edwin as the lead ala Yael. He is like Bamboo huh, rakista ang dating. To think, I discovered his talent. T. Venus would be so surprised he's no longer the shy and withdrawn, uncooperative kid. I bet even his sensei parents are so amazed. My starkids 4 girls sang "Sa Kanya" but the boys did better. Starkids 4 and 5 sang "Heal the World."Jhazel made her farewell walk as last year's queen. In the end for best float, Jean and Bethina's "Egypt palasyo" won. And for Mr and Ms UN, Nicole and Kurt won (Vietnam). My bet didn't won (Chelsea) who looked like Marie Antoinette. :) Then we ate at a buffet and chat and joked with our boss and the judges. What a UN day!

Now hear this

I just went to Kuya Nyoy's Now hear this thingy just to see my friends Reg and Elena, who was with their nice, supportive mom. Feeling ko,back to basics. Para bang yung opening song ni Kuya Nyoy, "Nasaan ka na", yung bang 4 years na, nandito pa rin kami. What am I doing here? You know that feeling, yung asking yourself what's the point of all this. To support na lang Kuya and to see and make chika with my Vicor friends. To meet Reg and Elena after a year. They haven't seen Kuya in a year. I saw him last month. I'm still amazed at Kuya, how warm he is now, with retentive memory na after 10 years... hehehe. Sarap ng beso-han, kumustahan, gudbayan with flying kiss. hahaha. :) We miss the angels yata. Reg is not so happy as before. But she's so pretty, I felt like I was with Barbie Almalbis. :) Elena got hitched na pala, di nag-invite. Happy na sya maging photog namin. Nice new album, we met Kuya's mom too. Hope everything works out for our dear Kuya esp. with his new "invisible" band. :)

Reunion with Rhodora

After 20 years, my mom and I met up with Tita Rosie and daughter Rhodora (who was one of my childhood friends). She still wears glasses. She has become a nurse in Ireland with 1 pretty kid Kristel. The last pic we had is when we were dancing at her kiddie b-day party. We had 70's outfit back then. She was way older than me.
Wow, they had a palatial house now, next to an INC and my old gay HS teacher's house. I saw my teacher and he doesn't remember me now, he only remembers the boys in our class. :) I heard he got married, got sick sa heart bypass and sold the land for millions. I especially like the upstairs veranda view. It's like in a castle tower. There was a huge party with catering. It was Tita Rosie's 68th b-day. And my mom is like a social butterfly among the golden girls and her former bosses. My dad is kinda anti-social and didn't like parties. Food is great. I was chatting with Rhodora's half bro. I wish my mom would have a party like that. :)

Maging sino ka man

I met up with the poison sisters Ghen and Ces. Ces bought her male kid along. She's now preggy with her 3rd child. We watched the MSKM mall tour, fresh from Wowowee Pampanga.Wow, Sm shook my hand huh, like we were just the only people in our mall, hahaha. Ang lamig ng hands! He's still cute to watch, that's all. I'm happy to see him. I've moved on. hehehe. :)

Till I met You

I went to the Till I met you Val tour. Ghen indianed me. I've always been a fan of bad boy Binoe, turned good Muslim boy. Instead, I found a friend there, Cyr, with her mom, who I long to see. We are like having a cold war, until in the pilahan, we held hands as some people are pushing us. I think it's symbolic. It's like holding on to a lifeline, a true friend. I'm happy I went there coz of my friend, even if my other friend Ghen indianed me. There was a jampacked crowd. We found out Binoe is a warm dude and Reg was an icy princess, hahaha. I get to beso and he was even giving me his marker. I returned it back. It was like a dream come true.I've been a fan for like ten years na ata. hahaha. :) I lost the poster coz I'm was not myself. hehehe. Shamrock was also there but they were upstaged by Binoe. No one is looking at them.
Later on, Joyce joined us. We ate and went malling. At least, Cyr and I were now ok.
